NFL: Week 11 Pick Results

Winning teams in bold.

Unanimous Picks (10-3)

Right

Ravens @ Panthers
Packers @ Vikings
Falcons @ Rams
Texans @ Jets
Cardinals @ Chiefs
Raiders @ Steelers
Seahawks @ Saints
Colts @ Patriots
Giants @ Eagles
Broncos @ Chargers

Wrong

Bears @ Dolphins
If you're starting your 3rd-string quarterback, don't you have to at least try to run the ball, as long as the game is close? Even if you are playing the team with the #2 rush defense? Thigpen handed off just 7 times, in spite of the fact that he had just 153 yards passing up to the final drive of the game.
Redskins @ Titans
The Titans had 11 penalties for 81 yards in this game, and they really hurt. A holding call pushed a 1st-and-goal at the 3 back 10 yards (the drive ended in a field goal). An OPI call nullified a late 4th-down touchdown pass. And in overtime, "roughing the passer" and "illegal contact" penalties helped get the Redskins into range to kick the winning field goal.
Bills @ Bengals
Good: being up 35-14 at halftime. Bad: giving up 35 unanswered points in the second half. Both of these teams are struggling, but at least the Bills finally seem to be moving in the right direction.

Split (APR: 1-2 SRS: 1-2 Line: 2-1)

Browns (APR, SRS) @ Jaguars (Line)
The same old story for the Browns: they play a team with a winning record close, have a late lead, but can't finish. Perhaps typical of their whole season, the Browns gave up 75 yards on a screen pass to Maurice Jones-Drew that set up the winning touchdown a couple plays later.
Lions (APR, SRS) @ Cowboys (Line)
The next game continues the theme of teams that can't put together a full game of quality football. The Lions were in control of the game into the 3rd quarter, until they gave up a 97 yard punt return touchdown. On the subsequent drive, the Lions fumbled the ball away at their own 19 yard line. The Cowboys converted the short field into another quick touchdown, and the Lions never lead again.
Buccaneers (APR, SRS) @ 49ers (Line)
The 49ers offense laid a big fat goose egg in this game, and not just on the scoreboard. Troy Smith struggled passing, completing less than 50% of his passes, and got sacked 6 times. There was no help from the running game, which barely accumulated 81 yards. The 49ers defense only gave up two long drives, but that was all the Buccaneers needed to win.
