Comments:

  • I wonder if NBC regrets not flexing Steelers @ Chiefs? There's not a lot of alternate choices, but this has real potential to be another blow-out snoozer.

  • CBS Sports has a nice "if the season ended today" playoff ranking. The Packers and 49ers can both clinch a playoff spot this week with a win and help.

  • The AFC race is really tight. There are 10 teams with 5, 6, or 7 wins right now. Nobody's spot on that list is anywhere near safe just yet.

  • If the Texans beat the struggling Jaguars and Colts, they will have the tie-breaker over the currently 2nd-place Titans. That will also get them to 9 wins, which could easily be all it takes to finish ahead of the Titans.
