Comments:
The Titans pay the price for playing the very weak Lions, and the Ravens and Steelers are there to take advantage. The Titans don't face another strong team until weeks 16 and 17, so they could have a tough time moving back up.
The NFC has 7 teams in the top 10. The AFC has 7 team in the bottom 10.
10 teams are at or above 8 wins. 10 teams are at or above 8 losses.
APR finally ranks the Broncos above the Chargers.
Teams ESPN likes more than APR:
- Redskins (+10)
- APR and ESPN both drop the Redskins 1 spot on their loss to the Giants. Their widest margin of victory was 8 points (over the Lions in week 8).
- Cardinals (+8)
- The Cardinals have tanked against good teams this year, and taken advantage of a soft schedule. Dallas is the only team they've beat that's ranked higher than #21 this week.
Teams APR likes more than ESPN:
- Ravens (-8)
- ESPN moves the Ravens up 3 spots on their win over the Bengals. Except for losses to the Colts and Giants, the Ravens have looked very solid this year, especially considering they have a rookie QB.
- Vikings (-8)
- The Vikings have gone 4-1 in their last 5. They still have to play the Cardinals, Falcons, and Giants, so they'll have a chance to prove if they belong in the top 10.
- Eagles (-8)
- The Eagles get another convincing win, and APR moves them back into the top 10. But the Eagles are 0-3 in divisional games, which is a huge issue when there are only two wildcard spots available.
Historically Bad Teams Watch
The Rams move away from the #1 spot, but now they have new company in the top 10.
