Comments
In spite of their loss to the Broncos, The Patriots get a big boost via the Falcons stomp-down on the 49ers.
The Giants increase by about 10% on their dominating win of the Raiders, but it's not enough to move up the rankings. If they can beat the Saints next week, they should move up.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, nearly lost to the Chiefs. They had a lot of promising drives stall because of offensive penalties, and that's going to be a problem if it continues the rest of the season.
Teams ESPN likes more than APR:
- Giants (+17)
- Their opponents are now a combined 6-19.
- Eagles (+11)
- The teams the Eagles have beat are a combined 1-13. They don't play anyone that APR has ranked higher than #17 until week 11, so they could be on this list for a while.
Teams APR likes more than ESPN:
- Cardinals (-8)
- APR drops Arizona 5 spots on their unimpressive win over the Texans. The Cardinals have a weak schedule left to play, so APR and ESPN should close together as the season progresses.
