Comments:

  • The Falcons and Bears sure looked like the class of the NFC on Sunday. Though given the Bears losses to the Seahawks and Redskins, I have to wonder how consistently they can play at that level.

  • The Packers loss doesn't cost them much power, and thanks to the Eagles' fall making a spot for the Falcons, it doesn't cost them rank position either.

  • The top-ranked AFC teams have another unimpressive week, with the Patriots and Jets struggling against bad teams early, and the Steelers needing overtime to beat the Bills.

  • Because the Colts now have 5 losses, their streak of 12+ win seasons ends at 7 (2003-2009). But they have a pretty soft schedule to finish the season, and could easily get to 10 wins (which would extend their now 8-season streak of 10+ win seasons).

  • Every team in the NFC West now has a losing record, and all are ranked in the bottom 10. Although if the Rams can beat the Cardinals next week, both are likely to change.

  • Are the Cardinals the worst team in the NFL right now? After making the 49ers look like world-beaters on MNF, it's hard to argue otherwise.
