Comments:

  • This ranking doesn't include the Nevada @ San Jose St. game, scheduled for Sunday night. But since both teams are down in the weeds, it shouldn't be a big deal.

  • A lot of upsets this week, though I can't say I'm exactly surprised Iowa or Cal lost.

  • USC's offense struggled mightily against ASU's defense. Their scoring consisted of a pick-6 and one (1) 75-yard touchdown play. The only other time they were even in field-goal range was off another interception (the FG attempt fell short). If they don't get better offensive production, USC will be in real danger of more losses this season.
