Comments:

  • Yeah, that's how bad the Lions have been that they're not even favored to beat the Seahawks. Though it sounds like Calvin Johnson might be back, and he makes it a lot easier for Matt Stafford to find an open receiver.

  • Can the Cardinals get back to their old run-stopping ways? The Bears' 26th-ranked rushing offense should show whether the Cardinals have been exposed, or just had a (very) bad game.

  • So, will that be Cowboys @ lost-to-Raiders, barely-beat-Redskins Eagles, or will it be Cowboys @ blew-out-Giants Eagles? Knowing would make picking that game so much easier.

  • The Steelers are doing a lot better now that they've got Troy Polamalu back. But the Steelers got a nasty surprise the last time they played a prime-time game in Denver.

  • It seems like an odd thing to say about a 5-3 team, but this really is a must-win game for the Giants. As I mentioned previously, it doesn't get easier for them any time soon.
