Comments
The Saints are way above even the #2 Colts. For what it's worth, this is similar to how the Patriots' power ranking went in 2007 when they went 16-0 in the regular season. The Patriots also had an easy schedule that year, too.
Thanks to a 5-0 win streak, capped with an impressive road win over the Broncos, the Steelers are ranked above #11 for the first time this year.
The Cardinals bounce back to #6. Other than the Vikings in week 13, they have a pretty soft schedule; 6 more wins is not out of reach for them.
Teams ESPN likes more than APR:
- Vikings (+10)
- With the 49ers and Packers fading down the stretch, the roster of teams that the Vikings have beat is starting to look a little thin.
- Packers (+9)
- I didn't see the Packers as a #12 team last week, and after an inexcusable loss to the formerly 0-7 Buccaneers, I don't really see them at #16, either.
Teams APR likes more than ESPN:
- Jets (-8)
- With wins over the Patriots, Texans, and newly-resurgant Titans, the Jets do have some interesting wins to their credit. The bad news is, the Jets have a lot of tough opponents left to play, and the defense really needs to step up if they're going to have a chance to win.
