Comments:

  • The Patriots may need to win out to maintain their hold on the division. Their remaining schedule isn't that hard, but if Brady is hurt, it could still be tough sledding, especially for a team still looking for their second road win.

  • The Falcons are perilously close to continuing their streak of never having consecutive winning seasons. They need at least 3 more wins to total 9 for the season, and any hope for that has to include getting Matt Ryan back on the field.

  • Right now, the NFC's 6th-highest team in the standings is the 8-4 Packers. As a result, it will likely take at least 10 wins to get an NFC wildcard spot this year, which means all those 5-7 teams are already done, and just don't know it yet.

  • The AFC wildcard race is much more wide-open, with 7-5 Jacksonville currently in the 6th slot, and four 6-6 teams just one game behind.

  • The Colts haven't lost to the Broncos in a meaningful game (for the Colts) since 1993.
